Hello and welcome.

I'm Brian (Allen) White... a full-time designer by day and a photographer at my leisure... based in Anderson, Indiana. I shoot seniors, families, kids, and any other random projects that catch my eyes here and there. This blog serves as my own personal outlet for all of my professional work, personal imagery, family pictures, travels, and all of the other randomness that I encounter along the way. So feel free to look around and get to know me better. You can use the navigation bar at the top to find topics, tips, resources, etc. or try out the search tool at the bottom of the blog if you’re looking for something specific.

Thanks for taking the time, I hope you enjoy the work, and I hope to speak with you soon.

Senior Caleb

I’ve known Caleb since he was just a little tike watching Nemo in my living room… well now he’s all grown up and needed some senior photos taken. I knew it would be the easiest shoot ever… so without further ah-doooooo…  meet Caleb.

Sunrise Senior Living – Louisville, Kentucky

101509_1101509_2101509_3101509_4101509_5101509_6101509_7101509_8
So I’ve always had this belief that the people in our world who have spent the most time here are the wisest and that the rest of us young ‘whipper-snappers’ could learn a few things if we’d take the time to listen and observe what our elders have done. With that in mind, I was more than happy to take a trip down to Louisville and shoot the opening reception for Sunrise Senior Living. When I did the initial site visit my wife and I were blown away at the attention that was given to the details of this place.

In the images you can see different little touches that have been well thought out to give the guests here those little touches of home that they may have lost or forgotten. Besides that, but this facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology that makes life significantly easier for elderly folks who may otherwise have a hard time.

Good work Sunrise… keep doing what you’re  doing. Thanks for letting me observe and capture all the things that you do to honor those who brought us to where we are today. Much love.

Rachel and Brandan Holmes – Pendleton, Indiana

This was another great day shot with my good friend Joel Cookston. The weather was not very cooperative, so we had to stay indoors for the majority of the time, but when you’re at BluFalls, there are plenty of places to shoot. Rachel and Brandan were so much fun to work with… both were full of life and you could just see the love that was going on between the two of them. It was terribly obvious in the way they stared at each other. Thanks for letting Joel and I shoot you on your special day… it was a blast.

Amanda & Kimm Johnston – Anderson, Indiana

This couple was full of smiles and their wedding party contributed to that in every way. Everyone was incredibly easy to work with and it shows in the images. Thanks for letting us be a part of your day… it was a blast.

Oh the Indianapolis Zoo… what a beautiful location for a wedding. This is the second time that my good friend Joel Cookston and have had the opportunity to shoot here and it does not disappoint. Heather and Nate… and their entire group of family and friends… were absolutely a blast to work with. Nate and his groomsmen were cracking us up all day long and Heather and that umbrella… ridiculously gorgeous. Thanks again for letting us be a part of your special day.

This year at our annual family reunion we had a few special guests. A few of my cousins and their kids came from far and wide to get together and reconnect with the fam’. We all had such a great time catching up at the reunion and at the world famous 4-H Fair in Alexandria, Indiana. Much love to everyone that came so many miles to hang out. Love you all.

The Rock Star-like Bridget and Michael Hawryluk

Okay… so in the past I’ve talked about weddings where we felt like we were part of the family… this one may have taken first prize. My good friend Joel Cookston and I had the opportunity to meet up with Michael and Bridget to capture their day and had the greatest of times. The two of them had this genuine love about them and it seemed to spread throughout their friends and families. Everyone met us with open arms and let us have a peek into their amazing lives. Just wanted to say thanks again…

From time to time I’m just going to add some random images of my son… for those of you who have never met him, he is the greatest kid the world has ever seen… okay, I’m a bit bias, but he is a ball of fun and brings all kinds of smiles to my face. Enjoy the images.

This was one of those wedding days where the great Joel Cookston and I had the time of our lives capturing images. Everything from the couple… to the locations… to the food… to the party were absolutely OFF THE CHAIN!!! Great times… hope we have more like this in 2010. Love it.
